If you happen to be into weather, don’t miss out on the opportunity to contribute to CoCoRahsdaily. I was one of their first members back in 1998, after a deadly flood struck Fort Collins. CoCoRahs is a national program where you gather and send them your precipitation data daily to help out the weather service, etc.
But enough about the weather. You came here to see what’s happening on the top boomer blogs this week… Here you go:
Last week Tom at Sightings over Sixty joined the approximately 30% of Baby Boomers who use a smartphone. Here he confesses: A Dummy Gets a Smartphone. It’s unclear whether he will actually be able to use it, but at least he HAS one now!
This week on Modern Senior, Amy takes a look at a recently released documentary call Granny’s Got Game, a film that looks at gender discrimination and the role of sports while also telling the individual stories of six women basketball players. Be sure to stop by to learn more including how YOU can host a screening in your own community.
