I tried something I considered highly risky yesterday, and I’m very happy with the results! I got some “permanent make-up” applied, better known as tattooing, to darken and shape my eyebrows, and I love the results! See, I did get up enough courage to try a midlife tattoo, I just did it in a more practical way!
I’ve never been a make-up person. Too much trouble! So I liked the idea of tinting my eyebrows permanently and then never having to think about make-up again. The trick is to find the right person to do the job!
I know George Carlin advised, “Ladies, leave your eyebrows alone!” in Rule #3 from 2008, but mine were fading into nothingness!
I found a woman here in Fort Collins who I really liked from England with 20 years experience, and she did a great job! I might even try some permanent eyeliner next…
Day 2 addendum: I find myself thinking two things at once about this new adventure: “I can’t believe I did this!” AND “Why didn’t I do this sooner!”
Five month later addendum: Yesterday I went back and got some permanent eyeliner put on. I LOVE IT!!!

So glad you found a good person. We recommend that you always ask to see the artist “book” of their actual clients, so that you can feel confident that you are in good hands!
Yes, she did take before and after shots, but I didn’t get a chance to see them.
Good idea to look at the artist’s client book before getting it done.
