I have never written about breast cancer, but this seems as good a time as any, since this is breast health awareness month.
First of all, my life has been powerfully impacted by this disease, like most of us, and so I have strong feelings about keeping us all involved and informed on this subject.
That is why I can strongly recommend this set of three short videos to educate us all about where and how cancers develop, the experience of diagnosis and treatment, and preventative measures to protect ourselves from the worst that breast cancer has to offer.
Denial does not work, so please get screened annually and do your own self-exams regularly.
In addition, I would like to invite you all to consider joining The Army of Women Research Project to end breast cancer in our lifetime. This project involves making yourself available for various research projects that study how and why breast cancer develops. You have all the freedom in choosing which studies you wish to be a part of.
By joining the Army of Women, you join hundreds of thousands of women determined to make breast cancer a thing of the past for future generations!
Information is the key to saving thousands of women lives each year!
