YIKES!!!
I did a face plant Monday morning by falling off my bicycle. I crashed and was found unconscious on the bike trail I was riding on. After my first ever ambulance ride and a few hours in the ER (which, BTW is nothing like the TV show!!!), I spent 24 hours in the neurological unit of my local hospital, because I had some bleeding in my brain.
But, not to worry, I should be o.k. in a few days. Just black and blue with bruised ribs and hurting all over. Wanted to let you know why I’ll be out of commission for a few days….

I always knew it was safer to bicycle in Manhattan.

Oh my. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your fall. I am recovering from a bad fall I had in February and I know how you must feel. So take it easy and most importantly listen to your doctors.
Sounds like Philip doesn’t have much experience with closed head injuries!
I confess I am boneheaded.
I’ve been smashing into things all my life. I use my head like a blind man uses his stick.
